PAGELENS

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 August 2026

PageLens is designed to help users inspect and understand the structure and behaviour of webpages they deliberately choose to analyse.

1. What PageLens does

PageLens is a browser analysis tool that examines the currently selected webpage when the user activates PageLens. Depending on the enabled features, the analysis may include page structure, links, forms, scripts, frames, external resources, redirects, hidden interface elements and other technical signals.

PageLens findings are informational signals. A finding does not by itself prove that a website is malicious, trustworthy, safe or unsafe.

2. Local webpage analysis

PageLens is designed to perform webpage inspection in the user's browser. Page information required to produce the PageLens analysis is processed for the purpose of displaying the requested results to the user.

PageLens does not intentionally transmit the contents of analysed webpages to Kanverse merely for the purpose of performing the normal page analysis.

3. Licence and activation service

Controlled versions of PageLens communicate with the PageLens/Kanverse licensing service to verify activation status, device authorization, plan status and availability of licensed features.

Information necessary for licence validation may therefore be transmitted to the licensing service. This communication is separate from the local webpage analysis performed by PageLens.

4. Local storage

PageLens may store information locally in the browser that is necessary for operation of the extension, including activation state, device identification, licensing information, preferences and other functional settings.

Users can remove locally stored extension information by removing PageLens from their browser or by using applicable browser or PageLens controls.

5. Browsing information

PageLens requires access to the webpage selected by the user because examining that page is the core purpose of the extension. PageLens is not designed to silently build a general browsing-history profile of the user.

6. Sale of personal information

Kanverse does not sell personal information collected through PageLens. PageLens data is not intended to be used for advertising profiling or the sale of behavioural information.

7. Third-party websites

PageLens may identify third-party domains, services, scripts, frames or resources used by a webpage. Their appearance in a PageLens report does not mean that Kanverse controls or endorses those third parties.

8. Security

Reasonable technical measures are used to protect PageLens licensing and service infrastructure. No internet-connected system can, however, guarantee absolute security.

9. User control

PageLens analysis is initiated by the user. Users may stop using PageLens, remove the extension, or clear applicable extension data through their browser.

10. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as PageLens develops, including when new features or services change how information is processed. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
